This autumn, Hog Roast Chasteton is catering for a surprise party taking place at a private residence in the Cotswolds. The party is being hosted as a surprise for Angela, hosted and organised by her husband to celebrate her 50th birthday. For the party, Angela’s friends and family have been invited to attend the party, alongside Hog Roast Chasteton’s catering. For the menu, the Hog Roast Chasteton team has been hired to provide a classic hog roast for the occasion, with our manager Rufus on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Chasteton team arrived at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 6:00pm serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we provided succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages to create hot dogs. For the selection of sides, we provided homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Our menu was prepared on-site, with our catering station set up in the kitchen. When Angela arrived at the party, all of her guests were hiding, ready to jump out and surprise the guest of honour. Once the event was in full swing, it was time for Hog Roast Chasteton to serve our catering. Our menu was a great addition to the event and was perfect for enjoying as a casual evening buffet.
