Jess and her partner recently moved into their first home, after previously living in two separate flats. Moving into a house together was the next step for the couple, giving them more space and freedom to be together. Moving from two locations required a lot of help from friends and family in the form of packing, transporting, and unpacking. To thank them for their hard work, the couple decided to host a housewarming party now that they are comfortably settled into their new home. Since their venue was going to be their home and garden, the couple decided to hire a caterer for the occasion. Hog Roast Bibury was hired to provide our classic hog roast menu for the occasion, with our catering being served to the 40 guests in the back garden of their home.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Bibury team arrived at Jess’ home with plenty of time to prepare for the 7:00pm mealtime. We began by roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked thoroughly and packed full of natural juices and flavours. Once ready, the meat was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative. As well as the main dish, we also served sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, homemade applesauce, fresh chips, and seasonal salad dishes. This created a delicious and varied menu and was a great talking point for the celebration!
