Pride in your work is such a valuable thing. You have to take pride in your work, otherwise what’s the point in it for you or anyone else? At Hog Roast Swindon each of us recognises that catering days can be long and tiring, but we each take a tonne of pride in delivering high-end dining experiences to guests and making their events something that is worth remembering for life. With weddings, corporate events, even private parties, as a caterer you always have to take a tonne of pride in the invaluable life experience that you are bringing to your customers.
We’re thankful to see that we’re not the only ones in our community that take a tonne of pride in their work. Frequent corporate client, David Wilson Homes, have been awarded the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job award. To celebrate, the came right to the caterer that they knew would hold that same pride, Hog Roast Swindon.
The Pride in the Job award is one given out to the very best site managers by the National Housing Board Council. For 45 years it has been used to recognise the site managers that are creating excellent work environments and raising the housing standards all across the board. David Wilson Homes in Swindon took away two awards for their site managers here, along with a many more across the country. Looking to celebrate their big win here, the Swindon team held a special on site for all of their workers as a thank you for all of their hard work that took the business to this accolade. Hog Roast Swindon were called upon to provide a special meal for all, and it doesn’t get much more special than our signature hog roast.
With 150 hungry workers queuing up, we had plenty of pork, sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, BBQ pulled jackfruit, herb dressed new potatoes, and bread rolls and wraps for all. We could tell even just from this single afternoon with the Swindon team that they fully deserved their award, as everyone was a delight with us and made the Hog Roast Swindon team feel right at home. Our thanks to all involved!
