The talk of the entire UK is of course this intense heatwave. Records broken for temperatures across the country in May, it has been both a blessing and a curse for many over us over a long bank holiday weekend. A blessing for heading out to the beer gardens, bathing at the beach, the garden, and topping up the tan, but when returning back to work it has been a sweaty nightmare.

Over the scorching bank holiday weekend the Hog Roast Charlbury team were racing around from event to event. A hot one for us, but each time we set up shop and started serving out our hog roasts, our glorious gourmet barbecue foods and sizzling southern slow roasts, it became worth it ten times over. We get a bit of shade under our marquee tent anyway, and our guests get to cool off with some delicious grilled and roasted meats. A win for all.
