Michael is the owner of a car-parts warehouse and employs over 60 staff members as part of his team. Business has been steady this year, with car parts always in demand regardless of the season. To gain more customers and to earn some publicity for the company, Michael chose to host a corporate fun day for staff members and the general public to enjoy. The event included a variety of different activities, including fairground games, food stalls, and a raffle. For the catering, Hog Roast Cold Aston was contacted to provide a classic hog roast at the event, as this was bound to attract customers. On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Cold Aston team arrived at the venue and set up our catering station in our allocated spot. We also set up a marquee to protect ourselves from any unexpected bad weather. We began the prep by slow-roasting the hog, ensuring that it was full of natural juices and flavours. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a tasty meat alternative. Once ready, the mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Our menu went down very well with the guests, and we had a steady flow of customers throughout the event. All of our customers had positive things to say about our catering, so we were definitely a positive addition to the event!
