Some celebrations just feel like they are meant to be. When it comes to planning an outdoor event here in the UK, you are pretty much always gambling on success – especially once we have come out of the summer and into the uncertainty of September. Will it be one of those sunny September days that feels like summer hasn’t left, or is it going to be a typically British grey and rainy autumn day?
Last weekend the answer was the former – sunny and pleasant – in what felt like a celebration that was just meant to be. Where it not for Manalo’s special birthday milestone, perhaps we would have all been looking at a bleak day in Cotswolds. But with Manalo’s birthday joy proving infectious, everyone from his friends, family, to the Hog Roast Cotswolds team got to share in a perfect September’s day.
It was a joy to be able to serve a special lunch experience for Manalo on his special birthday milestone. The Hog Roast Cotswolds team were relied upon to add to the specialness of the day by providing our signature hog roast dining experience to the festivities. It was a great choice for the day, as the sun allowed our team to carry out the authentic hog roasting process where it works best: outside. This means the 50 guests in attendance all got to share in one of the very best spectacles in all of dining. To see a whole hog roast in the traditional spit style is really a brilliant experience.
