Our team recently had the honour of being chosen to provide catering services for Ian and Catriona’s wonderful woodland wedding here in the Cotswolds, which was attended by 175 people!
The rustic, outdoor setting the couple had chosen for their nuptials meant that Hog Roast Kingham was the perfect fit for the occasion, and we took great pride in helping Ian and Catriona settle on the perfect menu for their big day.
After weighing up all of the options, it was decided that our Alfresco Wedding Menu was the best fit with their theme and budget. They couldn’t have chosen better, even if we do say so ourselves!
This popular menu provides a full hog roast experience, accompanied by an assortment of delicious side dishes to suit all manner of tastes, plus a charcuterie board for each table, which is topped with Italian meats, cheeses, breads, olives, sun dried tomatoes and various dressings.
When the day of the celebration arrived, Hog Roast Kingham spent all day lovingly preparing the succulent hog roast rolls, which consisted of soft and juicy pulled pork, sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling and homemade applesauce.
On this occasion, the side dishes included a variety of freshly made salads, roasted new potatoes, coleslaw, and a huge batch of sweet potato fries. All of this lovely food was served buffet style alongside a selection of chilled refreshments so that guests could choose what they wanted to eat and drink and when. We also provided a marquee and dining furniture for the guests to sit and enjoy their food.
This spectacular celebration was rounded off with an indulgent dessert menu of profiteroles or summer fruit pudding, followed by slices of wedding cake with cream and berries.
Just as we had hoped, the guests were extremely satisfied with the catering, and the couple praised the quality of the food and the friendly service that Hog Roast Kingham provided.
We are so thankful that Ian and Catriona chose us to be a part of their special day, and we hope that we provided them and their guests with a meal to remember.
