This month, Hog Roast Chadlington was hired by a friendship group to provide catering for their upcoming movie night. The group of 12 friends met during school and have been friends for almost two decades! However, as they have gotten older and spread further across the country, it has become more difficult to meet up and plan gatherings that everyone can attend. This summer, the group decided to host a movie night at one of their homes, using a projector to watch some of their favourite films from when they were in school. To make an event out of the evening, Hog Roast Chadlington was hired to provide our Gourmet BBQ menu for the evening.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Chadlington team arrived at the home with plenty of time to set up our catering station and prepare the dishes. We began by grilling the mains, which included succulent sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, and halloumi and vegetable skewers. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, with a gluten-free alternative available for several guests. As well as this, we also served a selection of delicious sides, including a green leaf salad, tomato and mozzarella salad, crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, sweet potato fries, and homemade chips. Overall, this created a delicious meal for the friends to enjoy and it was the perfect addition to their casual movie night at home!
