Hog Roast Catering
Are your menus set in stone?
All menus contained within our web site can be altered to meet your individual needs and we are more than happy to provide advice and assistance with any additional changes to the menu such as vegan, vegetarian or gluten free diets.
Can you provide children’s meals?
In past events we have found that our burgers and hot dogs go down a treat with the little ones! We are also open if you have any ideas of your own and we can create a full bespoke menu just for the children.
Can I get testimonials from couples you catered for?
We understand that by speaking to us you may or may not know if we are the right caterer for you, so there is nothing quite like reading the reviews of those who have booked with us in the past. Can you cater for guests who are vegetarian or have food allergies?
Yes, whilst you are creating a bespoke menu, we will let you know our vegetarian or vegan options for all our menus. It is important that you ask your guests in advance about any dietary requirements so that we can accommodate these.
Will you be able to cut and serve our cake?
Yes, we’d be more than happy to do this and you can find this service listed on some of our Wedding Menus. We will even serve the cake with ripe berries, a coulis of summer fruits and fresh English cream.
How will I know if you are free on my event date?
Please send us an enquiry, either via the phone, email, or our online contact form. Include details such as number of guests attending, your event location, your email address and of course most importantly your event date, you will receive an email response letting you know whether we have availability or not. By providing all those details it does mean we are able to send you a quote out straight away for a selection of our different menus.
My event is outside, will you require power?
We pride ourselves at Spitting Pig Cotswolds to be fully self-sufficient. Our fantastic equipment is designed with both outdoors and indoors in mind, and we can easily adapt to all weathers. With experience of over 26 years, we have already experienced and overcome every situation and circumstance and we will serve delicious hot food no matter the setbacks.
I’m only planning on having a small number of guests, can I still hire you?
Of course! We can cater for as many guests as you require, no matter how large or small your celebration is, and if there is any food left over, we will make sure to wrap it all up and you can send your guests away with their supper for the night.
Our guests fancied lamb, is this something you can cater?
We are famous as the hog roasting experts but we are also experts in all different kinds of meats, we can serve your guests lamb, beef, chicken, fish and much more. With alternatives for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free guests. Please don’t hesitate to ask us if there is a specific dish that you would like us to cook.
I’m looking to just hire a hog roast machine, is this possible?
Yes, you can hire our hog roasting machines for as long as you need them, they are fully reliable and even great for beginners. We will deliver the machine or machines straight to your front door the day before your event, allowing you to cook your hog roast overnight so that the meat is extra tender. Full instructions will be given, and the price will include delivery, collection, and a gas bottle. We can also supply the meat that you would like to cook if required.
